Our company consists of Sales, Service and Administration departments, who report weekly to management’s. Existing systems and procedures, together with job descriptions and an appraisal system are present. Each department is accountable for quality of work, ensure customer satisfaction, and have to ensure their own profitability by means of quarterly targets. Appraisals take place quarterly to measure the quality of work, customer satisfaction and achievement of targets. At the same time, problems are addressed and additional needs identified, to ensure efficiency. Targets for the next quarter are then determined and agreed upon mutually.
